You understand internet culture in all its weird, wonderful forms and know how to plug brands into it authentically. Whether that’s through original content, clever community management, or perfectly judged copy on someone else’s post. - A Community Nerd: You genuinely care about communities and how they work. You know how to build, nurture and protect them, understanding that it’s about conversation and connection, not just broadcasting content into the void. - A Strategic Thinker: You don’t just know what works, you know why it works. You can create content that earns attention and drives real results, and clearly articulate your thinking to account teams and clients alike, from insight through to execution. - A True Collaborator: You’re confident working directly with creators, meme pages and publishers, building relationships that help brands show up in culture and extend their reach in smart, relevant ways. - An Agency Pro: You’ve ideally got 2+ years’ experience in a social-first or creative agency, leading or heavily contributing to community management for major brands. You’re comfortable juggling multiple clients and know how agencies really work. - Communication & Persuasion: You work closely with client services teams and clients, helping sell bold, brave ideas while remaining open to feedback. You know how to push for great work without being precious, and how to take on constructive criticism positively. - A Technically Capable Creator: You’re hands on and happy in the tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut and similar and can turn content around quickly without compromising on quality. - A Creative Doer: You don’t just spot opportunities, you act on them. You’re proactive, fast-moving and comfortable jumping in to create, post and engage in real time. - New Business & Pitch Leadership: You’ll support new business pitches from a creative perspective, confidently championing the role of community in a brand’s social presence and helping sell ideas to prospective clients.
