Job Description

Talent Sourcer – Freelance

fonio.ai

• You'll own the top of the funnel across multiple open roles simultaneously — researching markets, building boolean searches, identifying high-potential candidates on LinkedIn and beyond, adding them to Ashby, writing personalized outreach, and running multi-touch sequences until you get a response • Build and execute targeted boolean search strategies on LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, and other platforms for assigned roles • Pre-qualify every candidate before adding them to Ashby — checking for role fit, location, language, and track record • Add qualified candidates to Ashby with complete profiles, source tags, and a 2–3 sentence note on why they're relevant • Launch and manage multi-touch outreach sequences immediately upon adding each candidate • Monitor reply rates and adjust messaging, targeting, and search strategy based on what's working • Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in Ashby at all times — no candidates tracked outside the ATS • Tag every candidate correctly (source, role, stage) so reporting is always accurate • Flag strong replies to the recruiter within 24 hours — never let a positive response go cold • Update candidate statuses in real time — no batch updates at end of week • Deliver a structured weekly report • Flag blockers and search strategy issues immediately • Participate in two weekly syncs (Monday brief + Thursday pulse) with the Hiring Lead • Incorporate feedback from phone screens into your search approach within 24 hours • Conduct ongoing market mapping for assigned roles — understand where the right talent is, what they're paid, and how competitive the market is • Identify new sourcing channels and communities relevant to each role • Share insights and recommendations proactively — you're not just executing, you're thinking

Job Requirements

  • Proven sourcing experience — you've run boolean searches, built outreach sequences, and delivered qualified pipelines under time pressure
  • Ashby experience is a strong plus — or deep experience with another ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workable) and the ability to get up to speed in Ashby fast
  • LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator proficiency — you know how to find people who aren't applying
  • Excellent written English — your outreach messages are personalized, concise, and convert
  • High attention to detail — every profile in Ashby is complete, tagged, and noted. Always.
  • Data-driven mindset — you track your own reply rates, conversion rates, and quality metrics and use them to improve
  • Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously — you're organized, prioritize well, and don't drop balls
  • Genuine curiosity about the roles you're sourcing for — you ask good questions, understand what "good" looks like for each profile, and adjust accordingly
  • Enthusiasm for AI tools — you actively use AI to improve your workflow, personalize outreach, and move faster
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken — your outreach is your product)
  • Available to work European business hours with overlap to Vienna (CET/CEST)
  • Comfortable working fully remote as part of a fast-moving, high-accountability team
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on sourcing experience — not recruiting coordination, not HR admin: actual candidate sourcing

Benefits

  • A high-impact role at a company growing from 32 to 100+ people — you'll see the direct result of your work in hires made
  • Direct collaboration with the Hiring Lead and Talent Acquisition Manager — no layers, no bureaucracy
  • A clear brief every week, structured feedback after every phone screen, and a Notion workspace where everything is documented
  • Access to the latest AI tools and sourcing platforms
  • Competitive freelance rate based on experience
  • The opportunity to grow into a full-cycle recruiter role as the team scales
