ROLE OVERVIEW: We are looking for a highly experienced Front-End/ UI developer with a strong background in building mission-critical applications, ideally within Financial Markets. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in TypeScript, modern front-end frameworks, and event-driven architectures with a passion for creating scalable, high-performance solutions. You excel at translating complex business needs into robust technical designs and delivering high-quality outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design and develop mission-critical UX/UI solutions for financial markets applications. - Build dynamic, programmatic front-end applications using modern web technologies (e.g. HTML5, TypeScript, Material-UI). - Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Develop and integrate with back-end services and data processing systems. - Contribute to the architecture of modern, high-performance systems (microservices, API-first, event-driven). - Ensure application stability, performance, and availability; provide L3 production support when required. - Apply best practices in software design to create reusable, maintainable, and efficient code. - Utilize CI/CD pipelines, version control, and static analysis tools to support development and delivery. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - 8+ years of experience designing and developing UX/UI for mission-critical applications, preferably in Financial Markets. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end development (including Material-UI and dynamic UI construction). - Solid experience integrating front-end applications with back-end services and data pipelines. - Good understanding of software design patterns and modern architectural approaches (microservices, API-first, event-driven systems). - Experience with some of the following technologies: React, Java, gRPC, Solace. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and static code analysis tools. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to independently translate requirements into effective technical solutions. - Nice to have: experience with Swing/programmatic GUI construction, WebSockets, Web Workers. • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large scale frontend applications across web and mobile • Build and evolve high performance React and React Native applications • Define and enforce frontend best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainability • Develop shared component libraries, design systems, and frontend infrastructure to improve team velocity • Drive improvements in application performance, reliability, and user experience • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive, user centered features • Mentor junior front end engineers • Influence technical direction and frontend strategy across multiple product areas • Debug and resolve complex frontend and cross stack issues

• Build key product experiences using React/Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript, Redux, React Router, Node.js, and Postgres. • Take on a multi-faceted role from analysing requirements and conducting research to coding and documentation, shipping new features, refining apps' UI/UX to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, and optimising systems for scale. • Most of your work will be focused on frontend development, and your ability to combine technical strength with design intuition will shine here. • Integrate with various APIs like ChatGPT, AWS-SES, WhatsApp API and similar third-party services to enhance app functionality and achieve quick development of the functionality. • Utilise Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) to manage and track changes to the codebase. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability and cross-browser compatibility. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
