Manager, Contractor and Consumer Finance

• Contribute individually and manage two offshore finance partners in their day-to-day performance of their jobs to handle accounts payable in compliance with internal controls and accounting policies • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor compensation, consumer revenue, and insurance claims • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, funds adjustment requests, and maintain accurate financial records and control reports, including 1099 preparation • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in accordance with GAAP; provide support for annual audit compliance • Complete month-end close processes for the contractor and consumer areas, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain productive relationships with third-party partners • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the contractor and consumer experience
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, consumer and contractor finance, or a related financial services role
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, month-end close, and accounts payable processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with both internal teams and external partners
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and/or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency working with large data sets and spreadsheets
- Experience with insurance claims process
- Familiar with property management, residential and commercial
