Role Description Estamos buscando un Backend Java Senior para sumarse a un equipo que desarrolla soluciones críticas dentro del ecosistema de telecomunicaciones. El rol tiene fuerte foco en diseño de sistemas, performance y escalabilidad, utilizando versiones modernas de Java y herramientas cloud. • Join a growing tech team, reporting to the Head of Engineering and collaborating closely with the CPO, Product Managers, and fellow engineers. • Build core systems from scratch within a new derivatives team, designing and maintaining a robust, secure crypto trading platform. • Implement and manage rigorous security measures across the platform. • Develop and optimize high-performance APIs. • Design and execute automated testing suites to ensure system reliability. • Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. • Manage and improve Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Implement technical solutions to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

• Own Chime’s Python version standards, upgrade cadence, and compliance, reducing EOL exposure and security patch lag • Design and drive safe, repeatable Python upgrade processes across services and shared libraries, enabling teams to adopt new versions with minimal friction • Establish clear dependency management practices (e.g., version locking policies, upgrade safety, library compatibility strategies) • Partner with CI/CD stakeholders to improve build performance, reliability, and developer experience for Python projects • Maintain and develop critical internal Python libraries including roadmap, quality, and adoption • Define and evangelize Python best practices (“the Chime way”), aligned with community standards, and support teams through documentation and enablement • Identify and drive opportunities to maximize returns from the Python + AI ecosystem, evaluating tools, practices, and vendor options that improve iteration speed and outcomes

• Define how systems connect across the full lifecycle (lead → opportunity → close → onboarding → adoption → renewal → expansion). • Structure solutions around core business capabilities to reduce fragmentation and improve reuse. • Ensure clean handoffs, consistent data models, and scalable automation across domains. • Lead architecture for Salesforce, marketing automation, customer success platforms, and support tooling. • Partner with data teams to align system design with the GTM data model and downstream analytics needs. • Define how AI is embedded into GTM workflows (agent assist, seller workflows, automation, enrichment). • Ensure solutions are practical, governed, and integrated into core systems rather than one-off tools. • Design reliable, scalable integrations across internal and third-party systems. • Define how systems share data, stay in sync, and interact without conflicts. • Set and enforce standards for system design, data quality, and technical implementation. • Participate in cross-functional architecture reviews with Enterprise Engineering and domain architects. • Evaluate tools and capabilities in the context of the broader ecosystem. • Drive consolidation and simplicity where possible. • Partner closely with engineering leads to ensure architecture translates cleanly into execution. • Mentor engineers and program managers on system design and tradeoffs.
