Senior Engineer – Health Physicist

• responsible for carrying out a full range of complex public health practice and research activities • providing technical consultation and assistance to health agencies concerning health physics related projects • plan projects to solve technical radiation exposure assessment problems • conducting literature reviews and research on past methods to develop radiation dose estimation techniques • conduct technical evaluations to assess the measured radiation exposure for individual and groups of workers • perform scientific assessments and data analysis related to radiation exposures in the workplace and environment
Job Requirements
- MS in health physics
- at least 5 years focused work experience in health physics plus MS in industrial hygiene or nuclear engineering
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) proficiency
- Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint) experience
