Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCP
Light Counseling
• A Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) provides psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. • Conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and implementing treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues. • The role involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals, conducting research, and sometimes engaging in teaching and supervisory responsibilities. • The LCP is part of an integrated team of administrative and clinical peers who provide professional, and confidential counseling services with a distinctively Christian approach. • Perform assessments using a variety of tools and techniques (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, tests). • Diagnose mental health disorders according to established criteria (e.g., DSM-5). • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs. • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, primary care physicians) to coordinate care.
Job Requirements
- Be a committed Christ follower
- Requires a Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited college or university.
- An active and in-good-standing LCP license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Current and up-to-date CAQH profile
