Math Game Designer
Plug and Play Tech Center
• Playing an important role in the product team, laying the mathematical foundation for a wide variety of slot games. • Designing and refining mathematical models where game logic is at the core of the player experience. • Working closely with a small, supportive math team to develop diverse, innovative and high-quality games. • Collaborating cross-functionally with producers, developers and artists throughout the game development lifecycle. • Developing slot game math models with guidance from more experienced colleagues. • Contributing to the continuous improvement of game mechanics and features. • Learning and growing within game mathematics through hands-on work and team collaboration. • Applying a strong interest in games design and mathematics to create engaging player experiences.
Job Requirements
- A University degree in a technical subject, such as mathematics/statistics, engineering or computer science.
- 1–2 years experience designing mathematical models for slot games or strong academic background with interest in game design or game mathematics.
- Experience programming solutions in the area of probability and statistics in an object-oriented language such as C++, Java, or C#.
- An interest in games and how game mechanics work especially within slot games.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback.
