Purpose We are looking for a versatile and ambitious Associate Creative Editor to join our team. This role is perfect for a multihyphenate talent—someone who can seamlessly edit, design, and animate while assisting in the creative execution of social first trailers, teasers, and digital content. As an integral part of the creative team, you will support senior editors, collaborate with motion designers, and contribute to the storytelling process across multiple platforms. You should have a strong visual design sensibility, a passion for social media, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Job Responsibilities - Participate in brainstorming sessions and assist in bringing creative ideas to life - Assist in editing social first trailers, teasers, and digital content, ensuring strong pacing, storytelling, and engagement - Create socially optimized cut-downs of existing assets (teasers, trailers, promos) for digital platforms - Create motion graphic elements as needed, including title cards, simple animations, and visual enhancements - Design engaging video thumbnails, overlays, and static assets to support video content - Support the assembly of rough cuts, selects, and editorial prep for senior editors Required Skills - 2 - 3 years in a creative role in an agency environment and minimum of one year of experience editing social first entertainment and brand campaign content and creative assets - Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with experience in sound design, audio editing, and cleanup - Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects - Proven creative success in storytelling with social first entertainment and brand campaigns and an understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategies - Knowledge of social platform specs and best practices (ie. safe zones, lengths, etc) - Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines, working efficiently while maintaining a strong attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the company and external partners - Must provide a reel showcasing finished work Pay Range $33—$37 USD Disclosures: In order to adjust to changes in our business, it may become necessary to add, remove or modify certain duties and responsibilities, or to reassign you to another job position.
