Data Analyst

Resource Management Concepts, Inc.

***This position is contingent on contract award*** RMC is hiring for a Data Analyst to support he safety and health management needs of a large federal agency. This position can work remotely in CONUS. In this role, you will collect, process, and analyze data in support of occupational safety and health programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, generate insights, and increase workplace safety. Role & Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights - Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements - Perform ad hoc analyses to support decision-making across departments - Maintain and optimize databases, data systems, and reporting tools - Document processes, methodologies, and data definitions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • This position requires an active Public Trust clearance. The selected qualified candidate must be able to successfully pass a DHS/TSA background investigation and clearance process.

  • Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current annual salary range for this position will be $65,000 to $85,000.
