UPMC is hiring a full-time Patient Access Data Monitor to support the Patient Arrival department. This position would work Saturday through Wednesday from 3:00pm until 11:30pm. This position includes the ability to work from home after training. Patient Access Data Monitors maintain data accuracy in all patient record related systems for UPMC. They coordinate and support ADT (Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers) resolution of accounts for all phases of the revenue cycle while working under the general supervision of Revenue Cycle Patient Access department leadership. Responsibilities: - Answer multi-line telephone system and register Direct Admissions, Transfers and Discharges according to department protocols. - Review reports and take action accordingly to maintain data integrity. - Support and contribute to UPMC core values and guiding principles, and abide by all UPMC departmental policies, procedures and goals in the process of performing all job responsibilities. Incorporates acts of dignity and respect in daily interactions. - Timely analysis, correction and root cause identification of errors to ensure a clean billing cycle.
