Technical D365 ERP Developer Associate

Role Description - Develop, customize, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) using AL code to build objects like tables, pages, codeunits, queries, and reports. - Design and implement matrix pages, dashboard pages, and complex user interfaces in Business Central to meet business requirements. - Develop and manage data exchanges between Business Central and external systems using protocols such as FTP and Azure Blob Storage for file transfers. - Write codeunits for tasks such as reading and processing Excel and CSV files, importing and exporting data, and performing business-specific data transformations. - Create and customize reports within Business Central using RDLC and Word layouts, and ensure proper integration with the system’s functionality. - Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to streamline data exchange. - Design and develop Business Central objects (tables, pages, codeunits) and perform in-depth debugging to resolve issues and optimize performance. - If applicable, leverage Power BI for advanced reporting and dashboard development, integrating data from Business Central into Power BI for enhanced analytics. - Use Azure DevOps for version control, handling commits, branching, and ensuring effective CI/CD pipeline management. - Manage object deployments across multiple environments, ensuring smooth migration from development to testing and production environments. - Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure that all solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements. - Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for development processes, solutions, and integrations. - Take full ownership of tasks, ensuring that projects are completed on time, with high-quality standards and a commitment to meeting deadlines. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Technical Staff Consultant provides support to the ChemTreat field sales representatives as needed throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide technical support to ChemTreat sales representatives in product screening and treatment program selections, the application of chosen treatment programs, and in troubleshooting treatment programs to meet the customer’s cost and performance objectives. - Technical Consultants are responsible for actively participating in the technology selection stage the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for products and solutions. - Assist account managers in conducting interviews with client management to gain an understanding of client business conditions, risks, and controls. - Identify, develop, and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed. - Interface with clients leads and become a trusted advisor or confidant to the client. - Cultivate successful client relationships. - Available for field sales assistance to include plant surveys, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and customer/prospect entertainment with the involvement of our field sales representatives. - Conduct equipment inspections classified as confined space as defined by OSHA will be required. - Travel throughout the continental U.S. on an average of three days/two nights per week.
