UN Women National Consultant - Private Sector Engagement, Women's Economic Empowerment - Homebased, India
UN WomenIn July 2010, the United Nations General Assembly created UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. The creation of UN Women came about as part of the UN reform agenda, bringing together resources and mandates for greater impact. It merges and builds on the important work of four previously distinct parts of the UN system (DAW, OSAGI, INSTRAW and UNIFEM), which focused exclusively on gender equality and women's empowerment. At UN Women, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment of mutual respect. UN Women recruits, employs, trains, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, national origin, or any other basis covered by appropriate law. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, competence, integrity and organizational need. If you need any reasonable accommodation to support your participation in the recruitment and selection process, please include this information in your application. UN Women has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct that is incompatible with the aims and objectives of the United Nations and UN Women, including sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority and discrimination. All selected candidates will be expected to adhere to UN Women’s policies and procedures and the standards of conduct expected of UN Women personnel and will therefore undergo rigorous reference and background checks.
Background: UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. The UN Women India Country Office in New Delhi advances this mandate by strengthening strategic partnerships, providing technical and policy advisory services, and advocating with government, private sector, civil society, and UN system partners. It also leads and coordinates the UN system’s work on gender equality and ensures accountability for results. Achieving gender equality is central to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In India, the Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) portfolio focuses on strengthening women’s economic rights and agency while creating an enabling environment for decent, safe, and equitable employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women in all their diversity. As a global champion for women and girls, UN Women works to challenge stereotypes and engage diverse actors to advance gender equality. While UN Women does not endorse commercial products or services, it proudly convenes the Un-Stereotype Alliance, bringing together leading industry actors committed to transforming harmful gender norms in advertising and media. The Un-Stereotype Alliance is a thought and action platform that uses the power of advertising to eradicate gender-based stereotypes. It promotes intersectional representation—addressing race, class, age, ability, ethnicity, sexuality, language, and other identities—while also encouraging progressive and positive portrayals of men. The Alliance unites major brands, media agencies, and creative industries behind a shared commitment to depict women and men as empowered, intelligent, and multidimensional. The Alliance aligns closely with the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)—a set of seven principles jointly developed by UN Women and the UN Global Compact. The WEPs provide companies with guidance on advancing gender equality across the workplace, marketplace, and community, and are promoted in India through the Women Empower India (WE India) Programme. Globally there are over 11,800 companies that are committed to WEPs. In India over 490 CEOs have signed Statement of Support towards WEPs. Recognizing the power of partnerships, the Un-Stereotype Alliance offers a unique platform for companies to collaboratively address stereotypes, shift harmful narratives, and drive positive cultural change. Through this collective effort, the Alliance contributes to shaping more equitable gender norms and accelerating progress toward a gender-equal society. The Un-Stereotype Alliance India Chapter, convened by UN Women, is an industry-led platform that brings together leading national and multinational companies, advertising and media agencies, industry bodies, and development partners committed to eliminating harmful gender stereotypes in media and advertising. In India, the Chapter is championed by members brands and strategic allies including the Advertising Council of India, Advertising Agencies Association of India, The Advertising Club, International Advertising Association, and UNICEF, which contribute sectoral expertise, industry networks, and knowledge leadership. The India Chapter’s priorities are guided by the global Un-Stereotype Alliance strategic framework and focus on eliminating harmful stereotypes and fostering more inclusive and equitable representations across advertising and media. Key priorities include strengthening industry commitment to stereotype-free communication; advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting authentic, multidimensional, and intersectional portrayals of women and men; empowering public action through advocacy, awareness, and outreach to influence gender perceptions and depictions; and expanding membership and engagement across industries and geographies to scale impact. Through collective action and peer learning, the India Chapter seeks to contribute to positive norm change, workplace equality, and broader gender equality outcomes. Adobe Experience Platform Consultant
BlastX ConsultingBlastX offers digital strategy, implementation & data-driven insights to help brands drive deeper customer relationships
Is this you? You have spent years doing hands-on Adobe Experience Platform work inside a consulting firm, agency, or system integrator. You know RT-CDP deeply. You have built schemas, resolved identity conflicts, designed audience strategies, and activated segments to real destinations for real clients. You are good at it and you know it. But you are ready for more ownership. More say in how a practice is built. More direct relationships with clients who actually listen. And less time being one of hundreds of consultants in a structure that makes it hard to see the impact of your own work. If that sounds like where you are, keep reading. What You Will Do At BlastX Consulting, you will own CDP engagements from strategy through activation. That means working directly with clients from day one, not supporting someone else's work. You will be the expert in the room. On any given week you might be designing XDM schemas and identity resolution strategy for one client, leading an audience activation workshop for another, and reviewing a scope of work for a third. The variety is real and so is the accountability. Specifically you will: - Lead CDP strategy engagements including platform selection, architecture design, use case prioritization, and activation roadmaps - Configure and govern Adobe RT-CDP, including schema design, audience segmentation, identity resolution, merge policies, and destination activation - Design and execute audience activation strategies across marketing, advertising, and personalization channels - Advise clients on data governance, privacy compliance, consent management, and identity strategy - Build CDP maturity roadmaps for clients at all stages, from first implementation to advanced real-time personalization - Author scopes of work, solution design documents, and technical specifications - Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice-wide standards and frameworks - Contribute thought leadership through blog posts, webinars, or client-facing content What You Bring This is not an entry-level or advisory-only role. You need to have actually built things in the platform. - Hands-on experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP, including building audiences and activating customer data - 5+ years working with CDPs in a consulting, agency, or client-facing environment - Strong understanding of audience strategy and activation, with the ability to translate business needs into effective CDP solutions - Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders, and build trust with client teams. You’re as comfortable in a client conversation as you are in the platform. - Proven ability to lead client conversations, influence decisions, and translate CDP capabilities into business value Required: - 5 or more years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Real-Time CDP in a consulting, agency, or system integrator context - Demonstrated experience with XDM schema design, identity resolution, audience segmentation, merge policies, and destination activation - Ability to lead client engagements independently, including stakeholder management, scope definition, and delivery ownership - Strong communication skills across both technical and business audiences - US-based and able to commit to a permanent home location (not a digital nomad arrangement) Strongly preferred: - Multi-platform CDP experience including Tealium, Hightouch, or similar tools - Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, or Adobe Analytics - Familiarity with composable CDP architectures and reverse ETL tools - Adobe RT-CDP or AEP certifications Why BlastX BlastX is a boutique digital consultancy. We are intentionally smaller, more senior, and more focused. Our team of consultants works across analytics, MarTech, and digital experience, and we have been doing it for over 25 years. What that means for you in this role: - You will work directly with clients, not through layers of account management - You will have influence over how the CDP practice grows, not just execute inside it - You are joining a team of seniors, not managing juniors while seniors take the credit - We are certified as a Great Place to Work and have been since 2019 We are fully remote across the US. We do ask that you work from your home location consistently. This role is not a fit for candidates who are frequently moving or traveling as a lifestyle choice. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 USD annually DOE We offer a competitive salary based on experience and a supportive, challenging, and fun work environment to ensure teamwork, productivity, and teammate happiness. We offer a flexible PTO policy, 60% employer paid medical insurance coverage options, 100% employer paid dental and vision insurance, 401k 4% company matching, profit sharing, education assistance, paid parental leave, performance-based salary increases, and year-end incentive bonuses. Ready to Apply? We review every application carefully. If you move forward, expect a process that includes a real conversation about your CDP experience, a technical discussion, and time with the hiring manager. We move thoughtfully because the right match matters to both sides. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. BlastX Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are not interested in placement agencies or companies at this time. BlastX Consulting is an “at-will” employer. Compensation, benefits, and job descriptions are subject to change based on individual performance and business conditions. BlastX Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO). #LI-remote
