Automation Testing QA Engineer

Role Description Peraton is seeking an Automation Testing QA Engineer (Journeyman) to support the MODES III program supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). In this role, the selected candidate will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate the program deliverables (websites, applications, APIs, and platform services), ensuring quality for production releases and supporting CI/CD pipelines. This position is remote and requires an active Secret clearance. - Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate MODES III deliverables (websites, applications, APIs, and platform services). - Develop and execute automated functional, integration, regression, and API tests (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, pytest, JUnit, Postman/Newman). - Implement accessibility and Section 508/WCAG automated checks and remediation workflows. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/CodeBuild/GitLab CI/CodePipeline). - Build and maintain test data pipelines and synthetic telemetry for realistic test scenarios. - Define Test Plans, Test Cases, and Acceptance Criteria aligned with user stories and DoD requirements. - Execute performance and load tests (JMeter, Gatling, Locust) to validate web health goals. - Triage defects with developers and participate in incident response for test found issues. - Maintain and evolve automated test frameworks, test harnesses, and test orchestration tooling. - Familiar with various testing tools and methodologies including Selenium/Grid, Appium, Espresso, JUnit/TestNG, and others. Qualifications - Active Secret clearance required. - Experience / Education: - 5 years relevant experience with BS/BA degree - 3 years with MS/MA - 1 year with PhD - 9 years without a degree - 7 years with AS/AA - Certifications: Demonstration of capability within the Cyberspace IT workforce. Requirements - Eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance. - Prior experience working in DoD or Federal government IT environments. - Experience with cloud-native data pipelines, analytics platforms, or data lake architectures. - Familiarity with NIST RMF, ATO processes, and DoD security compliance frameworks. - Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - CompTIA Security+ certification. - Work location: Remote with the ability to travel to the NCR when required. Benefits - Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. - Salary is determined by various factors, including experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies. - Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

This role requires advanced knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and inspection methodologies to ensure product conformity. The Inspector will work under stamp warranty authority, performing product acceptance on behalf of Aerojet Rocketdyne, L3Harris (Missile Solutions), and will partner closely with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) and Quality Management to ensure product comformity and mission success. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant quality inspector experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related quality inspector experience.
