Operations Analyst - CONTRACT

This is a 100% remote contract role, but applicants must be based in Japan. We're seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Operations Analyst to join our Operations team. If you're passionate about helping businesses, providing email and video call support, and solving complex operational problems, this role is perfect for you! The right candidate will play a pivotal role in providing support to businesses participating in research studies based on niche client requirements, simplifying our operational processes, quantifying results, living a "test and learn" mentality, and recommending automation. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who identifies needs and finds solutions. You will work cross-functionally to understand study requirements and technical processes, and then use your expertise to drive successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Provide white-glove email and video call support to business owners and leaders to assist them through the research study participation process. - Create documentation to help businesses understand participation requirements and prepare to be a part of the study. - Support businesses throughout the project lifecycle, including outreach to help people who are struggling with instructions. - Work with the Operations and Panel Marketing teams to plan business engagement activities and schedule calls. - Support the team with execution and tracking for projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Computer Interaction, or a similar field.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Exceptional communication in both Japanese and English (written and verbal skills), and comfortable being on video calls with businesses from a remote or work-from-home environment.
  • Very comfortable using emerging technologies and different software systems.
  • Comfortable helping users of different technology troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar products.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Mastery of spreadsheets.
  • Comfortable working in a frequently changing, often ambiguous environment.
  • Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, Zendesk, or other CRM tools.
  • History of supporting user experience research, market research, or working with technical teams.

Job Description Key Responsibilities Contract Strategy & Management - Lead end‑to‑end contract lifecycle management with our customers, including hospitals, health systems, GPOs, IDNs, specialty distributors, and government accounts. - Execute on contracting frameworks that account for the business’ unique operational model, including unit‑dose manufacturing, short shelf‑life logistics, and just‑in‑time delivery. - Ensure contracts accurately reflect service requirements, delivery windows, nuclear pharmacy partnerships, and dose‑based product configurations. - Oversee timely contract creation, workflow management, approvals, amendments, and renewals. - Maintain governance for contract templates, guardrails, and negotiation guidance. - Lead continuous improvement in contract operations, pricing workflows, and automation tools. - Partner with IT to enhance contract systems, CPQ platforms, CRM tools, and pricing databases. - Establish SOPs and ensure alignment with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
