Director, Planning Service

Hilldrup

• Lead the Managed Solutions Planning team, overseeing strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of planning and project management services • Drive accountability for the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all planning deliverables across projects and programs • Mentor, train, and develop team members to support strong performance and career growth • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across Planning Services and cross-functional teams • Partner closely with Operations to forecast, allocate, and balance resources, monitor project health and utilization, and ensure sustainable delivery • Provide senior-level guidance on complex or high-visibility projects • Oversee planning quality and downstream outcomes, and maintain best practices, tools, and methodologies • Contribute to budgeting and performance analysis, support sales and solution development efforts, assist with bids and estimates, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and participation in strategic initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in business, construction management, facilities management, or real estate
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in project management tools, systems, and platforms
  • Ability to analyze project data, capacity metrics, and financials to inform decisions
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (typically under 25%)
