Full Stack Developer

Ford Motor Company

• We’re seeking an experienced software engineering professional familiar with Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices. • Collaborating closely and continuously with fellow engineers, designers and product owners, you will help build, validate and release innovative software products early and often. • You will continuously learn and mentor fellow team members while focusing on delivery of quality enterprise solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related scientific field
  • Proficiency with test-driven development and strong understanding of clean code concepts
  • Pair programming experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of professional development experience with any of the following:   Java/Kotlin / Spring / Spring Boot / Microservices / JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Have used continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes etc.)
  • Unit testing and Mocking frameworks experience
  • Relational or NoSQL database experience
  • Iterative development (Agile methodology) experience
  • Expertise in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including:   Paired programming  Test-first/test-driven development (TDD)
  • Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Cloud Foundry, GCP)
  • Proficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes etc.)
  • Alerting and Monitoring experience with CloudMonitoring/ELK/Dynatrace/Splunk etc.
  • Proficiency with RESTful API standards/tools
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and Event Driven Architecture

This role is designed for detail-oriented experts with a background in environmental science, public health, or hazardous materials management who are ready to serve as critical technical resources for our clients. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a vital role by conducting comprehensive site investigations and environmental sampling. You will perform a variety of assessments and sample collection, such as hazardous materials assessments lead, asbestos, etc.), perform moisture mapping and microbial assessments, air quality investigations and assessments, and smoke damage assessments. This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contracted position. What you'll do - Driving to client sites around your specific location. - Performing commercial and residential inspections ranging from short duration (1-2 hours) projects to multi-hour projects. Most jobs are completed in less than a day. - Delivering samples directly to a local laboratory or via FedEx. - Updating/uploading project data after the job and at the end of the workday. - Occasionally inspecting inside crawlspaces, basements, and attics. - Communicating with clients.
