Position Summary Provides plan benefit review, interpretation and systematic setup essential for online viewing and processing related to Customer Service, Claims, Enrollment, Billing and Reporting in support of internal and external partners. Fundamental Components: - Reviews benefit provisions to ensure compliance with state and federal mandates. Evaluation process may also include assessment of summary plan descriptions and other related documents prepared internally or externally by clients. - Develops and executes implementation strategy consistent with client expectations; Ensures strategy is administered in accordance with all performance guarantee arrangements. - Uses critical thinking and extensive knowledge of Meritain’s system and processes to evaluate impact of client requested exceptions and develops reasonable alternatives to satisfy client’s needs while minimizing impact on Meritain’s system and operations; Identifies, communicates and tracks cost sensitive items not included as part of the standard process and highlights them for consideration in the determination of rate adjustments or renewal activity. - Collaborates on review, analysis and development of recommendations for the design of complex account and benefit structures based on customers’ objectives and Meritain’s system. - Ability to utilize Meritain’s proprietary system for analytical coding of detailed customized plans rather than standard offerings. - Effectively manages implementation and provides direction to fellow team members ensuring success of overall implementation process. - Facilitating client facing review of plan setup walking through all benefits to assure alignment of benefit interpretation. - Solicits and assesses internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement on the implementation process (ie. System tools, resources, etc.) - Demonstrates Salesforce proficiency and understanding for cross functional communication and executive level status reporting. - Reviews coverage files at intervals throughout the first year of implementation to analyze for setup adjustments to align with claim processing reports to achieve higher levels of auto adjudication opportunities. Required Qualifications - 1-2 years Healthcare industry experience (Customer Service, Claims, and or Plan Build preferred) - This person should be highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple assignments with high quality results. - This person should have good communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. - This person should have a high attention to detail and accuracy while focusing on overall project deliverables. - This person should have the ability to remain flexible yet focused during stressful situations. - This person should possess good analytical and problem solving skills. Preferred Qualifications - 5 years healthcare industry experience with benefits Education - Bachelors Degree preferred or High School diploma/GED and equivalent work experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $122,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future. Role Description Accountable for confidentiality and expert handling of Bank’s legal/court orders, i.e., subpoenas, summons, garnishments, freezes, liens, etc. Reinforce quality control/quality assurance tasks related to department. - Examine and record maintenance changes for the bank and parameter changes for the department. - Complete maintenance requests for the department and maintain a high level of confidentiality with access to employee accounts. - Primary for handling Bank’s legal requests and court orders while maintaining confidentiality. - Provide primary support to review and complete Verification of Deposit (VOD). - Review and clear GL settlement outages. - Strengthen the Bank’s core system with data uniformity verification. - Secure appropriate approvals on all exception items and maintain organized recordkeeping and email documentation. - Mentor new and current employees. - Review daily management reports in imaging system with required annotations. - Verify CD, IRA, DDA, Safe Deposit, and Savings accounts are closed according to proper procedures. - Review IRA transactions and paperwork for accuracy and process corrections. - Provide support for internal and Level II external customer calls. - Work with various departments including Branch Management, Fraud, Treasury, Teller, Card, and Payments Operations. - Maintain and review monthly dormant accounts report for activation. - Serve as backup for document scanning, imaging, verification, and destruction of original documents. - Assist with the creation and maintenance of department procedures. - Verify all new Automatic Funds Transfers (AFT) and Sweep Transfers are maintained correctly. - Handle account charge-offs, printing of interest checks, and reviewing withholding report. - Print, sort, and mail notices handled in-house. - Work directly with Bank’s statement vendor for electronic and paper statements. - Handle responsibilities related to deceased customers and overdraft privilege options. - Perform daily, monthly, and annual Safe Deposit Box responsibilities. - Comply with all related bank and department policies, audit standards, and regulatory mandates. - Participate in department, branch, and bank meetings. - Maintain positive, professional working relationships with managers and personnel bank wide. - Provide exceptional service to all customers. - Keep abreast of industry scams, fraud trends, and evolving security risks. - Remain active with attending webinars and conferences. - Responsible for ensuring management is aware of all department and/or Bank concerns. - Perform other duties as assigned and special projects as needed.
