Application Engineer
Medtronic
• Plan clinical, technical and training support missions in accordance with the annual strategic plan • Provide clinical and technical assistance to the medical team (physicians/nurses/technicians) and to clients during implantation procedures • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported in the field by sales representatives or customers, upon request • Demonstrate and explain the operation of our products to medical teams (physicians, nurses, technicians) • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with medical teams across centers • Report immediately and appropriately any adverse events concerning customers or products • Report weekly activities to management and collaboratively plan tasks and objectives for upcoming weeks
Job Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering
- Prior relevant experience in cardiac rhythm management (electrophysiology/arrhythmia therapy) required
- Professional working knowledge of English, with excellent interpersonal skills and strong empathy
- Proficient with computer tools (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to lead projects and take responsibility for tasks independently while working as part of a team
- Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Flexible, with a strong capacity to adapt

Working closely with our service support team, you will deliver excellence and be customer centric in your duties. You will have the opportunity to complete a logbook which enables you to move up the Caljan ladder. • Develop and maintain VoIP-related systems and services • Work with SIP, SDP, RTP, and other voice protocols • Configure and manage Kamailio and FreeSWITCH platforms • Support and debug voice-related incidents (SIP tracing, logs, RTP flow) • Collaborate with other teams to integrate voice solutions • Participate in the software development lifecycle (planning, coding, testing, deploying) • Contribute to automated deployment using tools like Ansible and Docker (both required); Kubernetes is a plus
