In this role, you will play a vital part in our Insights workflow, helping us transform raw media data into actionable intelligence for our clients. The Role This is a flexible, project-based position designed for those who can jump in and hit the ground running. Position Summary: The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time, non-unit position with no benefits. MassBay Community College seeks a part-time Social Media Specialist to support the strategic goals of the Marketing and Communications Department. Reporting to the Associate Director of Public Relations, this position will play a key role in promoting the MassBay story to regional audiences to drive enrollment growth, strengthen alumni and donor engagement, and enhance the student experience. The Social Media Specialist will manage the College's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), overseeing all aspects including strategy, content creation, scheduling, and analytics and performance reporting. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Associate Director of Public Relations to integrate strategic planning, creativity, and data-driven decision-making to maximize the impact of social media. The candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within the marketing team and across all departments. Key Responsibilities and Duties: - Develop and execute creative and impactful social media strategies in collaboration with the Associate Director of Public Relations to boost the College's visibility and engagement across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn; - Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of campus events, student profiles, and faculty stories to create compelling content for social media, the College's mobile app, and for other use of the Marketing & Development Department; - Track and analyze social media performance metrics; - Plan and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent posts; schedule content, monitor engagement, and prepare timely responses to comments to foster community interaction; - Craft engaging narratives and visual content tailored to target audiences, aligning with the College's digital presence; - Collaborate with departments and student organizations to promote events, activities, and achievements through dynamic social media campaigns; - Monitor current social media trends, explore new platforms, tools, and content formats, and creatively leverage these and other ideas to enhance the College's digital presence; - Assist with recruitment and supervision of student ambassadors to amplify the College's presence on social media and at campus events; - Build strong relationships across campuses to source and produce authentic, student-centered content; - Participate in departmental meetings and manage project timelines through the ticketing system; - Produce original content that will involve photography and videography capture and editing and writing original content that reflects and enhances the College's brand and mission. Required Qualifications: - Associate degree with at least one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree; - One or more years of relevant experience in communications or social media creation and strategy; - Demonstrated experience taking and editing photos and video; - Demonstrated experience effectively using relevant creative and editing software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.); - Solid understanding of branding, integrated marketing communications, social media, public relations, and digital marketing; - Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to communicate effectively across a wide variety of social media platforms; - Working knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility best practices for social media content; - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; - Ability to give and receive critical feedback; - Ability to work within a team structure, take initiative, and see projects through to completion; - Proven time and resources manager; - Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends on occasion, and primarily on-campus; - Fast and willing learning, with positive attitude. Ce qu’on fait chez CHASR 🎥 Chez CHASR, on est obsédés par une chose : scaler les campagnes d'acquisition de nos clients sur Meta (Sephora, Unbottled, Rare Beauty, Studapart,... +25M€ de spend par an). Notre levier principal : la creative strategy et la production de créas. On teste, on analyse, on ajuste, on re-teste, jusqu’à trouver **LA recette créative** qui fait décoller chaque compte. Et pour y arriver, on a plusieurs cordes à notre arc : **Stratégie créative** – On scrute les comptes de nos clients sous toutes leurs coutures et on propose des recommandations créatives structurées et actionnables pour maximiser la perf'. **Copywriting** – On rédige des scripts, storyboards et briefs calibrés pour scaler, jusqu’à la moindre virgule. **Production de vidéos** – On produit des formats courts verticaux pensés pour la performance (UGC, VSL, contenus IA, etc.), adaptés aux codes des plateformes comme TikTok & Instagram, avec un seul objectif : capter l’attention et convertir. **Production de static ads** – On crée des visuels ultra-impactants pour que même auprès d’une audience froide (glaciale !), nos créas donnent envie de cliquer. Bref, on ne laisse rien au hasard et on met tout en œuvre pour transformer chaque euro investi. Historiquement, on ne fait pas d'achat media. Mais pour la première fois, on ouvre une mission côté media buying pur. --- Le contexte de la mission 🎯 Un de nos clients e-commerce (DNVB) nous a confié la gestion de ses ads. 👉 En 3 mois : - 15K€/mois → +60K€/mois spend - Et on ne compte pas s’arrêter là Objectif : passer les 100K€/mois rapidement. Jusqu’ici, c’est moi (Matthias, fondateur) qui ai géré le sujet. Aujourd’hui, il est temps de passer la main à un profil dédié. Vos missions Ce qu’on attend de toi 🫵 On ne cherche pas quelqu’un pour tout réinventer. On cherche quelqu’un pour prendre en main un système qui fonctionne et le faire scaler proprement. I/ Gestion & optimisation des campagnes - Gérer et optimiser le Business Manager 3 fois par semaine - Analyser les performances des créas lancées - Couper rapidement les créas qui ne performent pas - Identifier et scaler les créas gagnantes - Relancer en continu de nouvelles créas (≈ 60*3 nouvelles créas / mois) 👉 Le rythme est soutenu, la rigueur est essentielle. II/ Analyse & prise de décision - Monitorer les performances en continu - Comprendre ce qui fonctionne (créa, angle, audience, niveau de funnel…) - Ajuster les campagnes en conséquence 👉 Tu es à la fois opérationnel et analytique III/ Reporting & communication (clé du poste) C’est un point central. - Suivi des performances tous les 3 jours - Explication claire des actions prises (quoi / pourquoi / impact) - Reporting 2 fois par mois (bimensuel) : - Analyse des performances media - Analyse des créas qui fonctionnent (angles, awareness, messages…) - Recommandations concrètes pour la suite 👉 L’objectif : créer une boucle de feedback ultra forte entre : - Media buyer - Creative strategist - Équipe de production (monteurs, designers, etc.) Vos compétences Profil recherché 🕵️ - Expérience solide en media buying Meta Ads (tu es un crackito). - Capacité à gérer du scaling ecommerce (50K€/mois + idéalement). - Très à l’aise avec l’analyse de performance et la prise de décision rapide. - Rigueur + régularité (cadence élevée). - Excellentes capacités de communication (écrit & oral, pour assoir ta crédibilité auprès du client). - Mentalité test, learn et perf. 👉 Tu es fiable, structuré et orienté performance.
