Senior QA Automation Engineer, AI Agents

DaCodes.

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design and execute QA strategies that cover critical business flows such as transactions, onboarding, and WhatsApp API messaging, integrating automation, CI/CD, and AI-powered tooling into the daily workflow.

Job Requirements

  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar.
  • Integrate AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) into QA workflows for automated test case generation, regression analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Create and execute end-to-end, integration, and regression tests across critical business flows (transactions, onboarding, WhatsApp API messaging).
  • Define and maintain QA pipelines within the team’s CI/CD cycle.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on acceptance criteria and coverage strategies from early stages of development.
  • Track and analyze quality metrics (production bug rate, test coverage, time-to-detection) and translate them into concrete process improvements.
  • Senior QA Engineer with 4–7 years of QA experience, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Proficiency with web automation tools: Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
  • Experience integrating or experimenting with AI agents in development or testing workflows (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of modern software architectures: REST APIs, webhooks, and microservices.
  • Experience setting up or working within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
  • SQL knowledge for data validation and transaction traceability (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or similar (nice to have).
  • Experience with performance/load testing (k6, Locust, Artillery) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset to prioritize test coverage based on business impact.
  • Clear, direct communication and solution-oriented documentation.
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
