The Technology Analyst 3 role is responsible for evaluating business processes, making recommendations, developing innovative solutions, and improving processes using digital standards and technology. Analyst 3’s will make significant contributions to supporting cost containment and supply chain optimization for the Practice, orchestrating supply management system initiatives, process automation and bringing innovation to Mayo Clinic. Additionally, Analysts will train, advise and mentor SCM staff to fully enable an end-to-end digital supply chain. The role is expected to have a strong background in supply chain, finance, engineering or healthcare, with expertise in digital technology, including modern Analytics, Process Automation, Application Programming Interfaces and Product Management. Analysts need to be skilled in process improvement, innovation, project management, and application support and/or configuration experience with SCM or Finance technology, ERP/EHR/large integrated system, and/or data warehouses. Analysts must exhibit diplomacy, tact, initiative and organizational skills, as well as possess ability to inspire trust and confidence, communicate effectively with internal and external audiences and demonstrate ability to maintain outstanding customer relations. Requires individual who is self-directed, can effectively multi-task, and handles ambiguity well. Role responsibilities include being a member or leader of the applicable systems leadership teams (e.g. project teams, coordination, and/or Supply Chain and Accounting Technology Review (SCATR)) to sustain long-term goals through consultation, process leadership and digital transformation. Supply Chain Management (SCM) Technology Analysts must stay abreast of current industry trends and establish new methodologies for data driven processes and digital enablement. Additionally, Analysts on the team will be responsible for maintaining the project portfolio, advising on strategic initiatives and tracking the value. May be asked to participate in industry advisory and/or user groups. Must be highly articulate in both oral and written communications, including presentations with the ability to logically translate and disseminate technology insights to non-technical stakeholders. Department is seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Reporting and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, dashboard development, and data pipeline management. In this role, candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting new analytic solutions while supporting and maintaining existing reporting tools. Candidate should be highly organized, capable of translating business needs into technical requirements, and comfortable producing high-quality deliverables in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment. JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Officer TYPE OF CONTRACT: Consultant UNIT/DIVISION: SCDIOD DUTY STATION (City, Country): Remote Working DURATION: 7 months BACKGROUND: Over the years, WFP has made available its supply chain expertise, knowledge and network to Governments, Donors and UN agencies. To meet the increasing needs of WFP’s service provision portfolio, WFP is seeking a Supply Chain Officer to provide support for the global implementation of its service provision operations. The service provision work stream seeks to enable better outcomes through supply chain partnerships and forms a key commitment to Agenda 2030, ‘SDG 17 Partnership for the Goals’. Currently On-demand Service (ODS) Unit is providing support to 145 clients across 44 countries. The workstream business volume has increased significantly in recent years from US$5m worth of services in 2016 to US$291.1m in 2024. However, given the exponential growth and against a backdrop of unprecedented humanitarian emergencies, the provision of ODS has been implemented haphazardly, placing significant strain across WFP’s supply chain network. This has created critical constraints in securing optimal organizational capacities to fulfill the demands of WFP’s core supply chain work as well as those of its ODS activities. In addition, the existing business model and processes have yet to be fully evolved to meet the new realities of the service provision portfolio providing heightened risk exposure. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the Head SCDDO, the Supply Chain Officer will play a key supporting role in the overall service provision work stream, contributing to strategic and operational initiatives, as well as to partnership development and building a global community of practice. The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for the following activities: Account management • Manage partner requests for global logistics services and coordinate between relevant service providing units for implementation as required; • Provided dedicated account management to high profile partners including to International Financial Institutions (IFIs), troubleshooting and resolve issues in a timely manner; • Maintain weekly/monthly planning/performance related information/reports as required by the partners and WFP management; Business process and technical support • Contribute to the development of business requirements and business processes to facilitate the changing nature of the service provision business model; Act as interlocuter between the business and the supporting systems (for example: Service Market Place and NFI Tracking Project) to ensure understanding of the need for the systems to support the ‘as is’ and ‘future-proofed’ business model, with thorough documentation of engagement/solutions; • Support the updating of ODS guidance documents, ensuring alignment with the service provision integration strategy (when available) and the Supply Chain Strategy; • Lead the Common Back Office roll-out from the ODS side in line with the UN efficiency agenda; Community of practice • Support the development and implementation of a global service provision community of practice platform accessible across WFP’s operations; • Support the development of communication products and meeting cadence with relevant country offices to provide support, share learnings and develop collaboration through shared experiences. EXPECTED OUTCOMES: • Understanding of on-demand service provision and timely and quality management of service requests and customer accounts; • Ability to contribute to and support the evolving business model through integration of business processes and technical engagement; • Contribute to the development of an online service provision community of practice. EDUCATION: • Advanced university degree or first level university degree with additional relevant work experience. EXPERIENCE: • Four (4) years progressively responsible work experience in a related field and/or discipline.
