As a Site Contracts Negotiator II at ICON, you will independently manage the negotiation and execution of clinical trial agreements and budgets for a range of studies. You will work closely with sites and internal stakeholders to support efficient and compliant study start-up. What You Will Be Doing: - Negotiating site contracts and budgets with investigator sites, within defined parameters and playbooks. - Reviewing and adapting contract language to reflect sponsor requirements, local laws, and site feedback. - Managing a portfolio of contracts, monitoring cycle times, and proactively addressing barriers to execution. - Collaborating with legal, finance, and project teams to resolve contractual questions and ensure alignment. - Maintaining accurate records of negotiations, approvals, and executed agreements in relevant systems. - Supporting continuous improvement in contract templates, processes, and guidance, and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate. Your Profile: - Bachelor’s degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Relevant experience in site contracting, contracts administration, or similar roles within CRO, pharma, or healthcare. - Good understanding of clinical trial agreements and budget negotiation principles. - Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills. - Ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines, with attention to detail and quality. - Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a collaborative approach to stakeholders. Role Description As Controller, you’ll be the steward of Jackbox’s financial health—owning the systems, processes, and reporting that keep the business running smoothly. You’ll ensure accuracy and transparency in our financials while turning numbers into insights that drive smarter decisions across the company. This role goes beyond maintenance—you’ll help build and scale our financial infrastructure as we take on new initiatives, partnering closely with leadership to shape systems, policies, and strategy for what’s next. - Own the accuracy and integrity of our financials, from general ledger to monthly close - Lead day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, banking) with precision and efficiency - Drive tax compliance across corporate and sales tax, partnering with external advisors as needed - Strengthen internal controls and support audits to keep us compliant and confident - Identify and implement process improvements that help finance scale alongside the business - Build and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes - Deliver clear, actionable reporting for leadership, the Board, and investors - Directly manage and mentor our Staff Accountant, supporting their growth and day-to-day work Qualifications - 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a Controller or senior accounting role - Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting (CPA strongly preferred) - Strong command of sales tax compliance, nexus rules, and multi-state filings (Avalara a plus) - Experience managing corporate tax processes and external advisor relationships - Proven ability to lead accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll) with accuracy and efficiency - A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to clean, reliable financial data - Experience with modern accounting systems and ERP platforms - The ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance partners - A track record of improving systems, processes, and controls - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities - A collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally Benefits - Pay range: $160,000 - $180,000. • Implement, execute, and automate controls and compliance activities across the revenue business cycle • Analyze and work with multiple data sources • Collaborate with developers and analysts to build reports and dashboards • Manage and enhance ERP system usage • Support other departments in implementing cost controls within the ERP environment • Review and analyze reports from payment service providers • Support preparation and analysis of financial statements • Collaborate with operational teams to understand business needs • Perform financial research and analysis across multiple jurisdictions • Handle additional ad hoc tasks and projects

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end with speed, accuracy, and clear documentation • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Build and maintain internal controls that scale with the business and hold up under audit scrutiny • Establish the reporting infrastructure that gives leadership and the board clear, reliable visibility into company financials • Own vendor COGS tracking and margin analysis across product lines, ensuring cost structures are well-understood as the business scales • Lead the application of ASC 606 across subscription SaaS, AI usage-based revenue, and platform payment revenue streams • Ensure the accounting treatment for payments economics is clean and defensible • Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering to ensure billing architecture and revenue data support clean recognition • Own the full order-to-cash flow end-to-end, including how subscriptions and payments are created in Stripe, how invoices map to revenue, how settlements land, how refunds and disputes flow back, and how it all reconciles to the GL • Stay ahead of how our revenue model evolves (new AI features, new pricing structures, new markets) and flag accounting implications early • Own cash flow forecasting and management, giving leadership real, actionable visibility into liquidity • Manage compliance with our debt facility, including covenant tracking, lender reporting, and maintaining a healthy lender relationship • Partner with the leadership team on capital deployment decisions and ensure strategic use of the debt facility • Own multi-state income tax compliance and stay current across all jurisdictions • Lead SaaS taxability analysis and indirect tax obligations (sales/use tax) across states with nexus exposure, ensuring the company is correctly collecting and remitting where required • Build the accounting and systems foundation to support international expansion, including GST, HST, VAT, and other indirect tax regimes as we enter new markets • Own FX exposure tracking and multi-currency considerations as international revenue grows • Stay ahead of new tax and compliance obligations as the business scales and new products launch • Coordinate payroll, equity/options processing, billing, AR, AP, and cash management operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Evaluate and improve the accounting tech stack to support the complexity and scale ahead • Partner with data and engineering to ensure financial data flows are reliable, reconciled, and audit-ready; comfort working with or directing modern data infrastructure (Snowflake, dbt, Stripe) is a plus • Drive automation where it creates real leverage and accuracy; identify where manual processes are creating risk
