We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team remotely within the U.S., preferably in the Vancouver, WA area. The Project Manager I serves a single-point contact and ensures compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology, upholding H&M safety and quality management protocols. Responsibilities The Project Manager I plans, monitors, and reports project status and performance data to management and stakeholders, and identifies potential stakeholder conflicts and facilitates resolution. They will be accountable to manage risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and communicate risks for both self-performed and subcontracted work across all phases of the project. Additionally, the Project Manager I contributes to the continuous improvement of methodology, tools and approaches using fundamentals of H&M Project Management practices while training and providing project management guidance to associates and field engineers. The Project Manager I is considered the manager of process. The Project Manager I ensures that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performance requirements and congruent with the company's strategy. This role manages in an environment of trust and candor, promotes accountability, and assertively offers encouragement and constructive feedback. Qualifications - Requires effective oral and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy. - Good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. - Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organize and prioritize work. - Demonstrated business acumen, customer focus and drive for results. - Demonstrated proficiency and experience managing small & large projects within the construction industry and/or utility industries. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Reviewing and verifying constructability of the plans and specifications. Creating and enforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated daily, with a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion of the project. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular updates and prompt resolution of issues. Initial project estimates, bidding, and qualifying subcontractors. Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors to be selected for contracting on the construction of the project.
