Administrative work is done for you: • We have an entire clinical staff that handles the administrative work before you receive a study. • Your Staff will provide high-quality reports which will positively impact your income goals. Then, when the study reaches your worklist, a staff member has already set up some elements of the report, ensuring all prior exams are available. All that remains is the interpretation and submission. In-house IT, Workstation, and Credentialing: • Each radiologist is provided with a workstation and receives support from our own in-house IT department. • Our radiologists are supported by our own Credentialing department, which, again, provides more physician resources for patient care and less on administration. Role Description The Enterprise Architect, AI and Platform Engineering is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving EDETEK’s end-to-end enterprise architecture across AI, data, platform engineering, and product ecosystems. This role provides architectural leadership and technical direction to ensure that all platforms, products, and shared services align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and long-term scalability goals. This individual will serve as the architectural authority across AI, cloud, data, and application domains, ensuring coherence across product lines while enabling innovation and rapid delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture within regulated life sciences environments, with hands-on exposure to AI-enabled platforms and cloud-native systems. Responsibilities - Enterprise Architecture Strategy and Governance - Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision across applications, platforms, data, and AI capabilities. - Establish architectural principles, standards, and reference architectures that guide AI and platform engineering initiatives. - Ensure alignment between business strategy, product roadmaps, and technology investments. - Lead architectural governance, reviewing designs for compliance, scalability, security, and maintainability. - AI and Platform Architecture Oversight - Provide architectural oversight for AI platforms, data pipelines, and machine learning lifecycle components. - Define target architectures for AI enablement, including data ingestion, feature management, model training, inference, deployment, and monitoring. - Partner with AI, data science, and platform engineering leaders to ensure consistency across MLOps, data platforms, and shared services. - Guide adoption of modern architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven systems, service mesh, and API-first platforms. - Cloud, Data, and Integration Architecture - Define cloud architecture standards for AWS-based SaaS platforms, including networking, identity, access management, security, resiliency, and disaster recovery. - Architect enterprise-scale data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI workloads. - Establish integration and interoperability patterns across internal platforms, partner systems, and customer environments. - Ensure architectural decisions balance scalability, performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence. - Product and Engineering Alignment - Partner closely with Product Management, Platform Engineering, and Delivery teams to translate product requirements into scalable, reusable architectures. - Ensure architectural consistency and reuse across multiple products and shared services. - Support solution architecture for strategic customer initiatives and complex enterprise deployments. - Influence build versus buy decisions for platforms, tools, cloud services, and AI capabilities. - Compliance, Security, and Quality Architecture - Ensure enterprise architectures comply with regulatory and quality standards including 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, HIPAA where applicable, and global data privacy requirements. - Embed security, auditability, validation, and traceability principles into architectural standards and solution designs. - Support responsible AI practices by ensuring governance, explainability, and model traceability are addressed at the architectural level. - Work closely with security, QA, and compliance leaders to maintain audit-ready platforms. - Technology Roadmapping and Thought Leadership - Maintain multi-year enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with EDETEK’s growth and product strategy. - Evaluate emerging technologies across AI, cloud, data platforms, and developer tooling for relevance, risk, and ROI. - Act as a trusted architectural advisor to executive leadership and senior stakeholders. - Mentor enterprise, solution, and platform architects across the organization. Qualifications - 12 plus years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or large-scale platform architecture roles. - Strong experience in Life Sciences, particularly Clinical Development, R&D, or regulated healthcare and clinical data environments. - Proven expertise in designing and governing cloud-native architectures on AWS at enterprise scale. - Experience architecting AI-enabled, data-intensive, or analytics-driven platforms deployed in production. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, data architecture, and security architecture. - Experience working with product and engineering teams operating in agile delivery models. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications - AWS Advanced AI and general certifications. - Experience defining and governing MLOps and AI platform architectures. - Familiarity with clinical data standards such as CDISC and regulated software validation practices. - Hands-on technical background with technologies such as Python, Java, .NET, Spark, PostgreSQL, and AWS-native services. - Experience with enterprise integration platforms, API management, and event streaming technologies. - Prior experience serving as an architectural review board member or design authority. • Build AI voice agent solutions within the IntelePeer SmartFlow platform — configuring conversational flows, NLU intent models, business rule logic, slot-filling patterns, and multi-turn dialogue structures from approved design specifications. • Translate workflow design documents produced by the Healthcare AI Workflow Solutions team into precise, testable agent configurations that faithfully implement the intended customer experience. • Identify and resolve ambiguities in design specifications before build begins — escalating design gaps to the Director and Workflow Solutions team rather than making undocumented interpretation calls independently. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate build velocity, generate configuration drafts, and identify coverage gaps in conversational flows. • Build and maintain real-time integrations between AI agents and healthcare data systems — including EHR/PM platforms such as Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Epic, and athenahealth — enabling agents to retrieve and act on live patient and scheduling data. • Implement API integrations following IntelePeer's standards for authentication, error handling, retry logic, and data transformation — ensuring integrations are robust, well-documented, and maintainable. • Test integrations under realistic data conditions including edge cases, missing data states, API latency, and failure scenarios — validating that fallback behavior is safe and patient-appropriate. • Conduct thorough self-testing of all AI agent builds before advancing to formal QA — including functional testing of all defined flows, boundary condition testing, integration validation, and end-to-end scenario testing. • Collaborate with QA Engineers to support test case development, reproduce defects, and validate fixes — treating QA feedback as a quality partnership rather than a handoff. • Maintain accurate build documentation — including configuration change logs, integration specs, and known limitations — so QA and Customer Success always have a current picture of what was built and why. • Actively contribute to the team's testing frameworks and best practices, helping improve the efficiency and coverage of quality processes over time.
