• Lead SAP CPQ solution architecture and end-to-end design • Own CPQ processes: configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals • Design rule engines and guided selling frameworks • Architect integrations with SAP and external systems • Conduct workshops and translate requirements into technical designs • Support UAT, deployments, and production rollouts • Perform code reviews, governance, and design validations • Drive POCs and innovation initiatives • Mentor team and act as primary CPQ expert for clients • Ensure performance, scalability, and issue resolution

• Work as part of small, cross functional XP teams building advanced technology for customers or for Mechanical Orchard using a variety of modern programming languages • Pair program with other engineers and collaborate closely with other roles such as product managers and designers • Learn and apply XP engineering practices such pair programming, test-driven development, refactoring, continuous integration and continuous delivery • Operate and support production applications as a team in the context of the agile DevSecOps model • Collaborate on technical discovery efforts for existing customer systems including legacy applications • Continuously learn about relevant emerging technologies or practices and foster the growth of the organization through mentorship, tech talks, and other means • Contribute to research efforts using the latest technologies in generative AI and data engineering

• Define the long-term technical direction and roadmap for Identity and Access Management Platform in alignment with Upstart’s business objectives. • Lead the design, development and execution of a system that emphasizes security and ease of access. • Work closely with the Informational Security team to improve and develop standards that ensure that our customer data is secure and build trust with Customers. • Guide the architectural evolution of Identity engineering systems with an emphasis on security, scaling innovation across multiple engineering teams. • Uncover and drive alignment across complex technical requirements, designs, trade-offs, influencing product direction • Proactively evaluate, prototype, and roll out new technologies/frameworks to help cultivate a culture of innovation • Lead from the front, while mentoring and developing technical leaders
