Zonal Demand Generation Manager

The Zonal Demand Generation Manager is responsible for driving the DG strategy at the zonal level, ensuring its alignment with zonal business objectives. This role leads the planning and execution of crop-wise DG activities, optimizes resource allocation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes in farmer engagement and liquidation. Key Responsibilities: - Own and drive DG ROI for the zone under ADGM guidance; lead KPIs like retention, conversion, customer insights, purchase intention, ANU participation, and farmer acquisition cost. - Deliver liquidation targets for Crop Protection as per business plan through DG activities. - Prepare and execute the Annual DG Plan and crop-wise, division-wise execution aligned with business goals. - Allocate and manage zonal DG budget with focus on high-ROI, cost-effective initiatives; provide regular updates on budget utilization. - Partner with ADGMs and ZBMs for budget finalization, market communication planning, and resource deployment. - Work with Category Managers for crop-wise segmentation, product positioning, and execution strategy. - Collaborate with ZBMs to customize DG activities to regional market needs. - Coordinate with NC Team for product launches, demo planning, LPD/VPD design, and new product adoption. - Ensure execution of campaigns and track KPIs like MUPA, DG effectiveness, and field force performance. - Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of DG field resources in collaboration with marketing agencies. - Conduct regular TBM training to enhance execution capability on DG tools and initiatives. - Ensure adoption of digital and field platforms like eLMS, LPDs, EduFarm, Demo Plots, and Laser Farm. - Support dealer identification and onboarding to expand farmer outreach and improve conversion. Educations, Skills: - Bachelors/Masters Degree in Agriculture - Experience –10 to 15 years’ experience in CP/pesticides management - Experience of managing CP (Insecticides, Herbicides, Pesticides, Fungicides) - Strong teamwork and customer service mentality - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong project management, systems and technical, and time management skills - Previous work experience in Project Management, Operations
