IT Support Specialist

• Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. • Respond to user inquiries, diagnose problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner. • Maintain and update IT documentation, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the IT infrastructure. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications. • Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users. • Manage user accounts and access permissions. • Document support activities and solutions in a ticketing system. • Assist with network maintenance and troubleshooting. • Train users on software and hardware usage. • Maintain inventory of IT equipment. • Follow established IT procedures and security guidelines. • Participate in IT projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in providing IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic network concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
