Job Description

PHS Billing Analyst II

The Standard

• Manage a portfolio of 20–25 large client accounts, providing end‑to‑end billing support across the life of each policy • Serve as the primary billing contact for assigned clients through direct communication (no shared inbox or call queue) • Handle all billing functions, including invoicing, payment reconciliation, deductions, research, and discrepancy resolution • Conduct ongoing and event‑driven audits, including Open Enrollment audits, to ensure billing accuracy and compliance • Partner with internal teams and clients through meetings, reporting, and analytics to resolve issues and meet client expectations

Job Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of accounting or complex finance experience.
  • 5 years of customer service or account management experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and OneNote.
  • Extensive understanding of the cross‑departmental implications of contract and billing issues.
  • Strong customer-facing presentation skills and oral/written communication skills.
  • Prior experience with voluntary benefits is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred.
