Senior Manager, Database Administration, Donor Analytics

• Overseeing and making strategic decisions related to the donor database and donor engagement operations • Managing all aspects of the donor database and supporting the operations of a high performing team • Responsible for data integrity, security, and providing strategic data to inform fundraising campaigns • Collaborating with various teams on daily gift processing and acknowledgements • Liaising with the Marketing team to manage fundraising campaign logistics • Developing and implementing strategies for stewardship and retention of donors • Providing general administrative support for the Head of Strategic Partnerships
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of professional work experience, ideally in a nonprofit setting, or in customer service or business administration roles
- At least 3 years experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and advanced Excel skills
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience using MailChimp and mail merge is a plus
- Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines

• IT Database Administrator is responsible for administration of database platforms including monitoring, installation, configuration, debugging, administration, backup, recovery, troubleshooting, SQL tuning, and maintenance of database technologies. • IT database administrator is responsible for database design, deploying database objects and ensuring data integrity is maintained and secured. • IT Database administrator is also responsible to design and build high availability solutions to ensure stable and efficient operation of database technology solutions • Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting of assigned database technology, as well as designing database deployments for high availability. Ensure database versions are current and deploys patches as required. Also assists with determining migration and upgrade impacts and diagnosing/resolving technology/application errors. • Develop and implement controls required by CMS and other mandates/audit requirements. • Automate database functions by programming/scripting as required.
