Our work depends on a Revenue Cycle Interface Sr. Manager joining our team to support federal Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization program activities. As an Revenue Cycle Interface Sr. Manager supporting the IHS EHR program, you will be trusted to manage a variety of topics and efforts to ensure the success of our customer. This position is fully remote, US based. HOW A REVENUE CYCLE INTERFACE SR. MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: As an Oracle Health (Cerner) Revenue Cycle Interface Lead supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization program, you will be trusted to lead and participate in requirements determination, technical design, network connection understanding of system-to-system data interfaces, providing mission critical support to our customer. In this role, a typical day will include: - Lead integration for interfaces between the Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR platform and ancillary systems, providers, public health agencies, payers, other federal agencies, and patients using data exchange standards (e.g. X12, HL7), specifications and integration platforms - Understanding of revenue cycle workflows and processes including scheduling, registration, charge capture, coding, billing, remittance, payment posting, denial management, and reconciliation. - Work alongside IHS and its data partners to analyze healthcare interfaces such as claims, remittances, general ledger, accounts payable, eligibility requests and responses, lockbox interfaces, etc. information for conformance to data specifications and implementation guides - Facilitate X12, custom/proprietary, and other revenue cycle-based data format mapping discussions with clients - Assess and develop testing and validation use case scenarios - Proactively provide progress reporting and issue escalation to program management and the customer - Lead and train a team of interoperability specialists at varying levels (functional, technical) who will be dealing with clinical, financial and administrative data REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects to include performance reporting and system setup. - Must have significant experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) suite of software, specifically revenue cycle applications, workflows, reporting and data concepts - Must have extensive understanding of expense and timekeeping management, process, and policies. - Must have training/education/experience in task coordination; functional knowledge of IT project management concepts and tools. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
