Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and leading a remote payroll team. Experience within a contractor or construction environment is highly preferred. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Oversee and lead a remote payroll team, providing guidance, training, and performance management • Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements • Process and review multi-state payroll, including deductions, benefits, garnishments, and union-related payments • Administer union payroll and benefits in accordance with collective bargaining agreements • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment and accuracy • Handle payroll audits and respond to inquiries from employees and regulatory agencies • Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes, systems, and technology ________________________________________ Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5–15 years of payroll experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility • Prior experience in a contractor or construction environment strongly preferred • Union payroll and benefits experience required • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or experience with certified payroll is a plus • Proven ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively • Strong technology skills, including experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities ________________________________________ Preferred Skills • Experience with certified payroll reporting (e.g., prevailing wage projects) • Familiarity with construction payroll complexities (job costing, union reporting, multi-jurisdiction payroll) • Advanced proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems ________________________________________ Work Environment • Fully remote work environment • Collaboration with distributed teams across multiple locations ________________________________________ Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: ARC Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Role Description The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties of approximately 2000 units in multiple locations. The Regional Property Manager will oversee Property Managers, Senior Property Managers, and Multi-Site Property Managers within their portfolio. The Regional Property Manager will ensure that each property meets or exceeds its financial performance targets and ownership objectives.
