Role Description The Medical Policy Coordinator Intern will support the Scientific Affairs team in researching, developing, and reviewing medical policies. This internship is designed for a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in a healthcare-related field such as Public Health, Health Policy, Biology, Nursing, Pre-Med, or a related discipline. This is a part-time internship opportunity through September 2026 that is eligible for remote work, but travel to the corporate office in Tampa, FL may be requested during the assignment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Complete conversion of Laboratory Policies initial draft of Translation Guide, as assigned by Scientific Affairs Manager Implementation Consultant. - Conduct policy research to support maintenance of science intent in Translation Guide library. - Thoughtfully map rationale to bridge between Laboratory Policies and Translation Guide. - Actively participate in work teams to ensure overall deliverables meet the needs of both client and internal processes. Qualifications - Current grad student, with focused studies in one of the following: healthcare administration, public health, political science or public administration, public policy. - Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex information. - Excellent communication skills and writing abilities. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in a healthcare setting with exposure to billing, advocacy, laboratory science, or claims processing. - Prior experience in policy research and a developed skillset in policy writing and translation.

An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
