IT Support Analyst, Junior
Brasil TecPar
• Respond to and resolve second-level technical tickets (hardware, software, networking, and operating systems). • Provide support for physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux, virtualization – Proxmox, VMware). • Maintain and configure firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos, among others). • Execute backup and restore routines (preferably using Veeam). • Support and guide the Level 1 support team (L1). • Document procedures, solutions, and incidents in the ticketing system. • Participate in IT infrastructure improvement projects. • Assist in the maintenance of email hosting systems (e.g., WHM, Postfix, Exim, Dovecot).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in an Information Technology–related field.
- Previous experience in Level 2 technical support.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and virtualization tools.
- Experience with firewalls and email hosting environments.
- Organized, good communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of Proxmox and VMware.
- Experience with backup tools such as Veeam.
- Certifications in virtualization, firewall, or backup technologies.
- Basic information security awareness.
