Quality Assurance Engineer, iOS
Speechify
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Speechify iOS app, ensuring comprehensive coverage for both manual and automated testing. • Collaborate with the development team to identify, reproduce, and document issues and defects in the iOS app. • Utilize and maintain automation tools and frameworks for iOS, such as Appium, to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in iOS testing and automation. • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summaries, ensuring they are clear, concise, and up-to-date. • Communicate testing results, progress, and issues to project stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and customer support teams. • Participate in agile development processes, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives. • Continuously identify opportunities for process and tool improvements, and work with the team to implement these enhancements.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on iOS testing
- Strong understanding of iOS app development and testing processes, including familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and the App Store submission process.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, such as Bitrise, CircleCI.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
