Sales, Business Development & Technical Manager

Role Description We’re seeking an experienced Sales, Business Development & Technical Manager to drive growth across existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and expand into new application areas within coatings and graphic arts. This role blends commercial strategy, technical expertise, and relationship management, making it ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You’ll work closely with customers, distributors, and cross-functional teams across the global CHT organization to deliver solutions that create long-term value. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives - Grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities - Manage sales forecasts, operating budgets, and pricing strategies - Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to guide decision-making - Collaborate with global teams including Technical Service, R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Business Unit Management - Maintain and manage commercial leads and long-term projects using CRM and development systems - Provide technical expertise on coatings and graphic arts products through customer visits, presentations, webinars, and trade shows - Support product development initiatives and production location transfers in partnership with R&D teams - Manage distributor relationships and identify additional channels to market Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in chemical materials sales or a technical sales role (preferred) - ERP system experience (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar preferred) - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities - Excellent technical, commercial, and communication skills - Ability to travel up to 50% domestically Benefits - Lead high-impact business development initiatives in a technically driven market - Collaborate with global teams and industry-leading customers - Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote position - Be part of a company that values innovation, integrity, and long-term success
