• Design, develop, and maintain security and compliance automation solutions using Python or Go, moving projects from ideation through validation. • Work directly with compliance frameworks to automate the evidence-gathering process, ensuring Red Hat services meet rigorous certification standards. • Apply design thinking practices to architect technical solutions that are user-centric, ensuring security and compliance tools are intuitive for adoption. • Take ownership of software at the component level, resolving security issues that cross boundaries and contributing directly to upstream projects to improve the ecosystem. • Work alongside cross-functional teams to refine our shared methodologies. • Share your expertise with others through documentation, internal presentations, or technical blogs.

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and experience using or building compliance tooling
  • Strong experience with Linux, modern container technologies (Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift), and CI/CD pipelines
  • A background or strong interest in product security, including an understanding of how to build secure-by-design software
  • Desire to expand your contributions or influence within the open-source community
  • Ability to work independently within a distributed, multicultural team across multiple time zones.
  • Maintains an open mindset with a proactive interest in collaboratively evolving and improving our team's working methodologies.
  • Ability to articulate technical information clearly and build connections both within and outside your immediate team.
