We are seeking a Program Manager to add to our Brilliant Operations team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of business strategies to ensure the success of a high-impact, strategic client focused program. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across GrayMatter business units to deliver full lifecycle solutions and services that drive client value and meet performance expectations. General Job Duties: Program Strategy & Execution - Develop and manage a detailed program execution plan that includes resource planning, site readiness, training, and onboarding. - Translate complex technical and operational requirements into executable and measurable project plans. - Collaborate with internal business units to ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned to program goals. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program performance, scalability, and customer value. - Identify Client and Internal stakeholders and define a regular cadence to communicate and review the status of programs. This will include defining agreed upon KPIs and compiling data to compare program performance to agreed internal and/or client metrics - Promote a culture of safety, ethics, inclusion, and operational discipline across the program team. Client Engagement & Delivery Alignment - Act as the primary point of contact for the client on all program-related matters. - Coordinate closely with the sales team to develop resourcing and execution strategies that meet profitability standards and maximize the likelihood of new project awards. - Support the pre-sales process by contributing program insights, delivery feasibility assessments, and resource models. - Ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes and maintain alignment with client goals and expectations. Operations & Performance Management - Track and manage program KPIs such as sales, revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, utilization, safety, and Net Promoter Score (NPS). - Investigate and respond to constructive customer feedback; implement mitigation actions when needed. - Analyze data across all phases of the program to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and make informed recommendations to stakeholders. - Maintain global governance and standardization across regional execution (as applicable to client’s footprint). - Identify, align, and escalate risks, dependencies, and resource needs across the program lifecycle. Team Leadership & Resource Management - Coordinate resource utilization and sharing with internal stakeholders to meet client demand and efficiency targets. - Work through Team Leads to fulfill personnel management responsibilities: performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, succession planning, onboarding, and offboarding in collaboration with HR. - Provide recommendations for merit increases within budget, and drive performance improvement initiatives as needed. - Train and mentor project managers and engineers on GrayMatter’s project management expectations and technical processes. - Drive employee engagement through regular communication, team events, recognition initiatives, and career development planning. Budgeting & Planning - Provide input into the annual budgeting process for the assigned client program. - Forecast sales, revenue-generating activities, expenses, and headcount (including attrition and hiring plans). - Contribute to internal business reviews with data-driven insights on program performance and opportunities for growth Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field - 5+ years of program, project, or operations management experience in a technical or industrial environment - Experience with GrayMatter technologies and lifecycle services - Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel (pivot tables and LOOKUPs), SharePoint, IFS, and SAP - Demonstrated ability to lead and coach high-performing teams in a matrixed environment - PMP Certification or equivalent - Experience leading strategy at the senior client level - Showcase GrayMatter’s Core Values of Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork. The target annual base compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000, based upon relevant qualifications.
