What We’re Looking For: Empower individuals to establish achievable, measurable goals while monitoring progress and fostering sustainable behavioral change. Deliver specialized, platform-based behavioral healthcare to youth and young adults (ages 13–25). How You’ll Make an Impact: Main responsibilities: Screening and Assessment: - Mental Health & wellness screening, assessment, and progress monitoring - Risk assessment and mitigation - Identify individual users who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties - Identify and support a person in crisis and know when to facilitate referrals Providing Wellness Coaching And Therapy: - Prevention, wellness promotion, and psychoeducation through structured coaching chats or therapy sessions - Care coordination & case management - Offering Behavioral Health/ Wellness Coaching interventions - Develop individualized care plans to effectively goal set and action plan for positive behavioral change - Risk assessment and mitigation - Optimize positive mental health by addressing determinants of positive mental health - Minimize mental health problems by addressing determinants of mental health problems - Work with users to determine their problem areas, identify obstacles, and create a plan to achieve their wellness goals Moderation of submitted content: - Moderation of service user-submitted content following policy and procedures - Review and moderate user-generated content submitted through the Kooth platform in accordance with company policies and guidelines. - Ensure that all content meets ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, particularly those relevant to mental health therapy. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to users on their submissions when appropriate. - Collaborate with other team members to address any content-related issues or concerns. Quality of Care: - Engaging in an evidence- and data-informed approach to clinical care. - Participate in regular audits and commit to continuous improvement. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. - Liaise with other professionals around safeguarding issues and concerns. - Support operational aspects of Kooth to ensure consistent, reliable, and repeatable experiences. - Performing all duties in line with relevant compliance, legal requirements and internal policies with particular reference to children, young people, and adult safeguarding and protection, and data protection legislation. - Communicate with other healthcare providers as appropriate to provide a seamless care experience. Attending supervision, training, and meetings: - Attend and effectively contribute to clinical supervision. - Commit to our mandatory in-house training and continuing professional development opportunities. - Attend and effectively contribute to both performance management and team meetings. - Attend required individual/group supervision sessions and other required meetings as identified by your team supervisor.
Job Requirements
- What You’ll Bring:
- Education / Qualifications:
- A master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required
- Must currently hold an active New Jersey or Michigan license to practice therapy and will be subject to additional licensure on hire.
- Licenses in Michigan or New Jersey must be in good standing
- Experience in providing mental health therapy to individuals, preferably within a digital or online setting.
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations relevant to the practice of Therapy
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred but not required
