• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams (8–20+ engineers total scope) • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Architecture to shape roadmaps and technical direction • Improve execution predictability, quality, and velocity across teams • Establish strong engineering practices (SDLC, testing, observability, reliability, operational excellence) • Create a healthy, accountable, high-trust team culture where individuals and teams can realize their full potential • Manage cross-portfolio dependencies and stakeholder alignment • Use data and metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes • Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance • Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities • Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders, and contractors • Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed • Provide technical guidance & support in all phases of SDLC • Ensure delivery of high-quality products • Identify production and non-production application issues • Evaluate information and solve complex problems • Understand complex systems and pay attention to details to avoid issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Be an advocate of security best practices, champion and support the importance of security within engineering

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall IT/development experience on building enterprise class frontend applications to support member facing web applications
  • 2+ years of experience in a management role or leading software development team directly or indirectly which includes FTEs and onshore/nearshore/offshore consultants
  • 2+ years of experience with modern web/mobile/cloud architectures and distributed systems

About Us GroundTruth is looking for a Data Engineering Manager with strong expertise in designing and building scalable data platforms and pipelines to join our team. The Data Engineering Team is responsible for the core data infrastructure that powers our audience platform. As an Engineering Manager on our Audience Engineering team, you will build solutions that add new data capabilities and analytical depth to our platform while managing sophisticated AWS-native data services.
