This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 15–22 years of experience, particularly those who have thrived in fast-paced startup environments and have independently driven capital raise mandates end-to-end. Role Overview: As the Head of Corporate Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory by leading fundraising efforts, managing investor relationships, and partnering closely with the executive leadership team on strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying and securing capital opportunities, structuring deals, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term vision.
Job Requirements
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end fundraising processes, including equity and capital raising initiatives across multiple funding rounds (Seed, Series A/B/C, growth-stage, or pre-IPO).
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the company’s financial and strategic goals.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with investors, venture capital firms, private equity funds, and strategic partners.
- Prepare and present compelling investor materials, including pitch decks, financial models, and business cases.
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, and leadership team to drive strategic planning, financial forecasting, and corporate growth initiatives.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Lead due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and investor sentiment to inform strategic decisions.
- Act as a key advisor to leadership on capital structure, valuation, and growth strategy.

- Strong expertise in fundraising and equity raising, with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex transactions from origination to closure.
- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities.

- Candidate Profile:
- 15–22 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or similar domains.
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of independently leading fundraising or capital raise mandates end-to-end.
- Strong network within the investor and startup ecosystem.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high level of ownership and accountability.
