Healthcare Provider Directory Validation Assistant
Health Services Advisory Group, Inc. (HSAG)
• Contact healthcare provider offices by phone to validate and capture accurate directory information in HSAG’s database. • Verify and record accurate contact details, including office phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses. • Confirm and document healthcare providers' specialty areas, qualifications, and credentials. • Validate information on accepted insurance plans, Medicaid participation, and any specific project requirements. • Update provider profiles with accurate and current information in HSAG’s database. • Address any questions or concerns raised by healthcare providers regarding the directory validation process. • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations while handling sensitive provider information. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies identified during the validation process. • Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure the accuracy and completeness of directory data. • Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting any challenges or trends observed during the validation calls.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a customer service or telephone-based role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and document information.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and standard office software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks within specified timelines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established protocols.
- Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
