WHAT TO EXPECT: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for embedded Android platforms at JLR, supporting global teams to define and implement product roadmaps for use of AOSP and its variants, including AAOS, in our products · Provide strategic and technical direction and guidance to influence the implementation of applications, services, designs, and delivery infrastructure in Android platforms to advance JLR’s in car experience · Lead the design, documentation, and evolution of software architectures that optimize performance of JLR embedded systems, in-car applications, and other supporting platforms and services · Drive the definition and implementation of JLR’s embedded software roadmap by leading and fostering partnerships strategic industry partners and stakeholders · Work closely with stakeholders to ensure software implementation aligns with design intent and meets quality expectations · Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and assess new concepts, designs, and approaches for future JLR software products and platforms · Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across JLR and its global offices to ensure successful delivery of work in role · Mentor and advise architects across our business on new and emerging best practices and drive their adoption across the organization · Act as a representative of JLR to relevant standardization bodies and industry groups where required · Take a technical leadership role in the JLR software domain – be the specialist others within the company look to for advice and technical direction · Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU WILL NEED: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required · 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer or architect in a senior role, inclusive of required experience as an embedded software architect · Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery and/or design of complex software required · Experience working with internal partners development teams and outside suppliers/vendors · Working knowledge of AOSP in embedded, non-mobile contexts required, preferably specific to AAOS. · Experience with Android Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) desired · Experience with Google Automotive Services (GAS) desired · Working knowledge of QNX and/or LINUX operating systems beneficial · Experience with embedded virtualization strongly desired · Detailed working knowledge of Agile scrum methodologies and continuous S/W integration are essential · Knowledge of modelling tools such as Rhapsody desirable · Familiarity with ASIL, ISO26262 ASPICE, AutoSAR standards desirable · PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications is desirable but not necessary · Demonstrable experience of working with Free and Open Source (FOSS) communities desirable · Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and business presentations Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working SO WHY US? • Provide support for a variety of A-E services and environmental support projects nationwide • Work on Hazardous, Toxic, and Radiological (HTRW) sites and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Perform environmental studies, designs, and general support under various federal programs • Conduct site investigations, assessments, and remedial investigations • Develop Environmental Condition of Property reports and perform NEPA analyses • Conduct archaeological investigations and mitigation biological evaluations • Perform groundwater modeling and contaminant fate and transport analysis • Participate in project requirements for Environmental Engineering and Architectural Engineering (A-E) Services • Collaborate with military and civil environmental programs for several federal agencies

• Provide support for a variety of A-E services and environmental support projects nationwide • Work may include assignments on a wide variety of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radiological (HTRW) sites • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and laws • Support military and civil environmental programs for several federal agencies • Professional services include performing environmental studies, designs, and general support of environmental issues under federal and state laws • Conduct site investigations and assessments, remedial investigations/feasibility studies, and prepare Environmental Condition of Property reports • Perform National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analyses and documentation, archaeological investigations, wetlands determinations, and groundwater modeling • Engage in cost estimating, drawings preparation, and inspection services during construction • Work on hazardous waste and environmental type projects involving radioactive and mixed waste; energy conservation, pollution prevention, and habitat restoration

• Participate as a Snowflake Engineer in the project team and provide agile software delivery, best-practice expertise to deliver results for an organization. • Play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions for our client. • Proactively develop relationships with clients to understand their needs and effectively translate those needs into outcome driven solutions. • Provide expertise as a Snowflake SME to solve complex business issues that translate into data integration, processing, analytics and storage designs in Microsoft Azure. • Design, develop, and operate highly reliable large scale data lake systems. • Embrace Snowflake innovations with open source standards and tool sets. • Ensure all deliverables are high quality by setting development standards, adhering to the standards and participating in code reviews. • Participate in integrated validation and analysis sessions of components and subsystems on cloud servers. • Ability to perform market research and make specific recommendations including a SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat).
