Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional execution across complex engineering initiatives within a remote-first technology environment. This role oversees end-to-end program delivery across multiple teams, ensuring features are shipped reliably, on time, and with high quality. It involves close collaboration with engineering and product leadership, as well as ownership of execution frameworks, release processes, and operational rigor. What You Will Do: - Lead cross-team programs spanning multiple platforms, including backend and endpoint systems. - Identify, track, and resolve cross-functional dependencies and risks across engineering teams. - Define clear milestones in collaboration with product and engineering leaders, and ensure timely execution. - Own release coordination and rollout strategies, including staged deployments and feature flag management. - Ensure release readiness through proper testing, monitoring, and rollback planning. - Build and maintain lightweight execution systems (e.g., Jira) to track progress and drive accountability. - Develop automations using Python, APIs, or integrations to improve efficiency and reduce manual overhead. - Establish and enforce clear definitions of done across teams. - Provide real-time visibility into program status, including roadmap progress and unplanned work. - Drive initiatives to full completion, ensuring high-quality delivery rather than partial outputs. - Proactively identify risks and escalate issues effectively when needed.

Job Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or similar roles.
  • Experience working with complex systems such as endpoint software, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of release processes, including feature flags, staged rollouts, and deployment strategies.
  • Experience building or automating workflows using Python or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira for program tracking and execution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage both technical and operational challenges.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with system-level or security-focused products.
  • Background in managing highly technical programs involving multiple engineering domains.
  • Experience improving execution frameworks or scaling program operations.
