CTG is seeking to fill a Snowflake Data Architect position for our client. Location: RemoteDuration: 4+ months, with possibility for extension Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouses and pipelines. - Develop dimensional/Kimball data models and ETL/ELT processes. - Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices. - Leverage Snowflake features: streams, tasks, materialized views, data sharing, and performance tuning. - Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms and other data tools. - Maintain Git version control and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions. - Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions. Required Skills: - Hands-on Snowflake experience and strong data architecture knowledge. - Advanced SQL and data modeling (dimensional/Kimball). - ETL/ELT tools expertise. - Cloud platform experience. - Git and CI/CD familiarity. - Understanding of Snowflake architecture, storage, compute, and governance. Experience: - Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, focused on Snowflake and cloud data platforms. - Experience designing secure, high-performing, scalable data solutions. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
