• Develop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy • Adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles • Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences • Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies • Be an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communities • Remain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development • Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback • Actively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines • Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs • Consistently share best practices and improve processes • Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions • Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms

• Proactively working with the client to deliver quality software solutions • Communicating effectively with client colleagues on process, delivery, and team health to increase team proficiency • Progressively enhance the codebase and supporting systems and pay down tech debt as part of the software delivery process

• Designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight • Acting as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success • Providing improvements to the product(s) being supported • Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases • Supporting release planning with conceptual design and development / refinement of software engineering guidelines • Analyzing complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and solution components • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports • Providing mentoring to junior members of the team
