Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience developing native iOS apps
  • Good knowledge of Objective-C and Swift
  • Good knowledge of iOS Frameworks, specially UIKit and Core Data
  • Experience with Instruments and XCTest
  • Experience using Git

What you'll be doing: - To carry out welding repairs on Volvo construction equipment or miscellaneous equipment as required by line management, maintaining safe working practices throughout. - To carry out all work in line with quotations and time guides, highlighting to management where additional work may be required, upon strip-down of components. - To carry out duties in a commercially focussed way, seeking additional service revenue opportunities and promoting our aftermarket solutions. - Maintain a sufficient personal toolkit to enable you to carry out the job effectively. - In regards to company tooling (including but not limited to laptops, electronic timesheet, specialist tooling and lifting equipment), ensure defects are reported, use is in line with current test periods and in line with instructions/training. - Complete Personal Digital Assistant inputs in ‘real time’ providing comprehensive details of the work undertaken. - To order parts for your work as necessary and to return parts in a clean condition and at the time of job completion, to aid the efficient invoicing. - Liaise with the Service Supervisor to assist in planning work schedule for any welding, fabrication, modifications, campaigns or retail work. - To ensure a smart and professional appearance, wearing appropriate work wear and Personal Protective Equipment, and to ensure housekeeping in your work area is of a high standard. - To assist and coach colleagues with work related support where necessary. - Flexibility to work overtime as and when necessary. - To attend any relevant training courses, staying away from home where required, to ensure a high standard of competence required to efficiently complete duties. - When applicable, ensure the Volvo premises are locked and secure on exiting the building, in line with key holding responsibilities. - Work in accordance with SMT GB standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care. - Work in accordance with the SMT GB Commercial Vehicle Policy. - Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.
