Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Motive
• Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to design and build the infrastructure and services required to deliver new features to customers in a cloud-native and event-driven fashion. • Leverage and progress our IaC (Terraform) and CM (Helm) code and strategies for advanced scaling and self-service usage by engineering teams. • Identify and remove bottlenecks from systems in production throughout AWS services and with our Kubernetes platform. • Ensure 99.99% customer-facing uptime. • Continuously improve the monitoring and alerting capabilities of our platform, enabling us to be proactive instead of reactive.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of professional SRE/DevOps experience, and a demonstrated ability working on high volume production systems
- Demonstrable systems architect expertise, solving complex technical problems and implementing company wide solutions
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services and technologies (ALB/ELB, IAM permissions, DynamoDB, SNS, EKS/Fargate, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (Terraform and Helm charts especially) to design and provision new services
- Knowledge of Python, Bash or other scripting languages. Knowledge of Ruby or Golang is a plus
- High-level of ownership and drive to work with others and see improvements through to production.

• Principal engineers at Invisible are able to follow multiple paths. • Some of our Principal engineers are technical leads of teams and are responsible for people management of those teams. • They oversee the technical vision for their area and ensure that there is proper mentorship. • Other principal engineers lead through technical initiatives. • These engineers oversee broad multi-team technical initiatives and own parts of our software stack (e.g., principal engineers might research and roll out new technical frameworks or might develop a new generation of our UI component library).
NOTE: This is a short-term position with an expected duration of April 1, 2026 - September 15th, 2026. This program provides IT services focused on building, securing, and operating the Department of Veteran Affairs LGY’s home loan product-line technology. The contract’s purpose is to modernize and sustain critical home loan technology systems that support LGY’s delivery of mortgage-related services to program stakeholders, to provide continuous delivery and security integration. Position Description: This position focuses on creating and modifying pipelines using GitHub Enterprise Cloud repositories. The role requires expertise in developing and maintaining pipelines using Jenkins servers and troubleshooting deployment issues. Candidates should incorporate metrics such as Mean Time To Build (MTTB) and Mean Time To Deploy (MTTD). Experience with multiple CI/CD tools, Git Actions, and code scanning tools like CodeQL, Fortify, SonarQube, and Nexus is desired. Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, and AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy is advantageous.
