Global IT Operations Manager

Sensia Global

• Coordinate IT operations with the service providers to ensure delivery of timely and effective IT services that operate at a high level of stability and efficiency. • Work with the IT service provider to optimize and improve local company networks and servers. • Manage installations and upgrades of IT systems at Sensia facilities in close coordination with Global Real Estate Project Manager. • Be the single point of contact for IT escalations. • Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner by the service provider. • Provide support and guidance to Sensia employees globally. • Oversee end user device inventory, replacement and delivery to users. • Oversee the management, procurement and licensing of computer software applications driving common standards and best practises. • Develop and coordinate manufacturing OT practises in coordination with parent company experience. • Ensure backup of information and data to ensure recovery in event of system breakdown. • Establish periodic operations reviews and reports. • Reasonably challenge established standards to ensure that the correct technology is being applied for the best interests of Sensia. • Be able to evaluate new technologies to advance deliverables. • Develop and execute regular IT operations review with service.

Job Requirements

  • Proven operation management experience.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or other relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required.
  • IT Leadership experience.
  • Experience managing out-sourced IT / other operations.
  • Experience with system installation, configuration and analysis.
  • Power Platform knowledge and experience in technologies like Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate is desirable.
  • Microsoft Azure and Office 365 certifications or proven experience.
  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR).
