• Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure • Develop and implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise cloud environment • Design and build serverless applications and infrastructure as code in the cloud following development standards and best practices • Test and examine code written by others and analyze results • Develop tools, architecture components, and APIs in support of scientific application deployment • Collaborate with software developers, scientists, system/network administrators, and other technical experts to automate cloud deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines • Perform code reviews, refactoring, and source code repository maintenance • Function in a DevOps environment supporting development, testing, operations, and troubleshooting in a mission-critical environment • Support security testing, hardening, and assessments to meet strict compliance and operational security requirements

• Design, implement, and manage Azure-based environments to support product delivery and internal operations • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm • Build automation and self-service tooling to improve operational efficiency • Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins • Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Datadog • Participate in incident management and root cause analysis • Collaborate with the Security and Compliance teams • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of team processes

• Use deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices to build, operate, and scale reliable production systems • Own the infrastructure to enable engineering teams through strong platform foundations, automation, observability, and operational excellence • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) • Operate and evolve Kubernetes-based platforms using tools such as Helm and Argo CD • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling to support fast, safe delivery • Implement and maintain observability solutions, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, and distributed tracing systems • Own production reliability by defining SLIs/SLOs, managing on-call workflows, and integrating alerting with tools like PagerDuty • Manage secrets and sensitive configuration using Vault and best-practice security patterns • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues across cloud, container, and CI/CD systems • Collaborate closely with software engineers to translate application needs into resilient platform solutions • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams • Drive continuous improvement through automation, platform standardization, and contributions to DevOps and SRE best practices
